Re: SSL twitter and path.url

Are you using URL filtering?  It's blocked for me using the PORN category.  Otherwise see the doc here - it's one of the best docs I've seen on URL filtering:

Re: SSL twitter and path.url

Hi Maitane,

i have a test ruleset here for your reference and for further testing in your lab environment. I think Andre Sabban was working on this ruleset for a bit, so shouts to him if this is working. Please keep in mind that this requires the SSL Scanner to be enabled. Also in the ruleset there are references to AD groups etc. The Twitter Username should go into the List "Allowed Twitter Sites"

Cheers

Stefan

Re: SSL twitter and path.url

Hello,

Thanks for your responses. First of all say that I have URL Filtering too but you can access https://twitter.com/LAGACETADELPORN even ponhography are block.
I am making test with your Rule Stephan, but I can´t make what I want.

I would like, permit acces to twitter, but block some sites. If I change the rule Allow Twitter Sub Sites for Block Twitter and change de list with /LAGACETADELPORN* doesn´t match.

Re: SSL twitter and path.url

Perhaps rule engine tracing will help you - https://community.mcafee.com/docs/DOC-5201

Are you running a transparent setup?  https://community.mcafee.com/docs/DOC-4923

Re: SSL twitter and path.url

Hello,

Thank you very much for your answer. Finally I guess how to stop that access. It was with Url filtering and SSL scanner.
