SSL encryption?

Is it possible to log or count the used SSL Version (SSL3, TLS1.0/1/2)  for any SSL connection in a SSL Interception environment?

I'm also interested in logging / counting the cipher suite.

We recevied the request due to the poodle bug.... 🙂

Thanks

Frank

Re: SSL encryption?

Hey Frank,

I am not aware of a property which contains the information you are looking for 😞

Best,

Andre

Re: SSL encryption?

😞 is there a plan to add this in future releases?

If we disable ssl3 on the proxy we like to generate a user friendly blockpage.... currently surfing a page only supporting ssl3 will generate a missunderstandable error.

I think the information must be somewhere available in the proxy 🙂

Re: SSL encryption?

This is a great Idea.

Re: SSL encryption?

It took a little while, but this has been added in 7.7, see the post I added here:
