SSL Scanner

Jump to solution

When enabling SSL Scanner rule sets...trusted sites (such as Google,Hotmail and Linkedin) refuse to open due to certificate verification problem...and when the end-point user enforces it to open...it appeared disordered (just like the attached picture)

Re: SSL Scanner

Hello,

I assume you have not imported the RootCA you have configured in the SSL Scanner Settings. When you "accept" the certificate warning the requested page is allowed, but all embedded URLs still show a certificate error and therefore do not show up in the browser.

Here is some more information about SSL Scanner:

https://community.mcafee.com/docs/DOC-4822

I recommend to open the "Set Client Context" setting and export the RootCA from there. Then import it into your browser and try again.

Best,

Andre
