Reset a WW1100B to OEM BIOS

Got my hands on a couple of WW1100B's (Dell PowerEdge 860's, re-badged as SecureComputing WebWasher 1100 series).

Anyway, I'd like to purge the SecureComputing BIOS (A03) and put a more recent Dell BIOS (A05) on there so I can throw a nice CPU in it - the A05 BIOS update uploads to the BIOS secondary, the system reboots and says it cannot update the BIOS (most likely because of a vendor-lock).

How does one override this? Or have I now just got a couple of servers riddled with SecureComputing's out-dated firmware.

Thanks in advance.
