We have planned to install MWG on Virtual platform for 2000 users. What is the recommended configuration for this?

Requirements for setting up a virtual appliance
To set up a virtual appliance the following is required:
• One of the following VMware types:
• VMware ESX
• VMware ESXi
VMware workstation version 5.5 or later is not supported, but can be used for testing purposes.
• Virtual machine host system with the following specifications:
• CPU: 64-bit capable
• Virtualization extension: VT-x/AMD-V
• Virtual machine with the following specifications:
• Memory: 4 GB
• Hard-disk space: 200 GB

I have checked the documentation. Those seems to be the minimum requirements.
We will be using MWG in a production environment for more than 2000 users. Is the mentioned configuration is OK for that much of load?
I recommend to contact your Sales representative in regards to the sizing questions. It you want to deploy MWG in a virtual environment for production use I strongly recommend to get an official response from McAfee, rather than having your sizing based on a community response. You may end up with a setup that does not work as expected because the sizing is wrong.
Since sizing is critical for a painless operation, please refer to the official ressources.
