Outlook Autodiscover does not work with MCP

Hello all.

I'm currently running MWG 7.8.2.4.0 along with MCP 3.1.0.Authentication fails when Autodiscover communicates using MCP. I have found that specifying MWG in the OS proxy settings works fine and using MCP has problems.
I excluded outlook.exe in MCP, but the situation remains the same.

Could I have some help sorting this out, please? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @Masaki ,

If you exclude outlook.exe in MCP policy. MCP will not redirect traffic for the outlook.exe process. 

I would recommend you to collect a pcap/netmon capture to check if the outlook.exe traffic is redirected to the MCP active proxy.

Thank you for your reply.

The problem is that Outlook communication fails when MCP is installed. Of course, if MCP is not installed, it works fine.

The situation does not change with or without bypassing Outlook.exe.

Can MCP affect Autodiscover communication?

Hi @Masaki ,

I haven't seen as of now MCP affecting Autodiscover communication. What did you see in Pcap/netmon capture?

Does the host machine get proper name resolution for the autodiscover URL ?

I would recommend you to create a new Service request with support and attach the MCP Support tool file to it.
