Office 365 - Should this be whitelisted?

Hello Everyone,

Should the O365 IP addresses be completely whitelisted so that it doesn't go through the proxy. As of right now, we are not doing any SSL inspection on the McAfee maintained O365 addresses.

Since we are not doing any SSL inspection on 0365, what is the advantage of having the traffic go through the proxy?

I am just not sure on what is the advantage/disadvantage of the O365 traffic going through the proxy?

I am tempted to completely bypass the O365 traffic from going through the proxy.

Can someone shed some light on this? Thank you everyone
