No pictures, message <no host IP available>.

Hi,

I've a weird picture problem on the website http://www.wbonus.cz/

The pictures aren't available.

Used gateways: 6.8.6 build 6257

When i go to http://_images.wbonus.cz/800-600_4194379ed60a8df73986bc1f4f3ad25b7dbb6e7a.jpg i get the following message.

Capture.JPG

When I access the page directly with for example ISA i can see the picture.

Capture1.JPG

Both webgateway and ISA are using the same DNS servers.

With other webites i've no problems with the mcafee webgateway.

Anyone an idea?

Ray

Re: No pictures, message <no host IP available>.

Hi Ray!

This is occuring because of the underscore in the domain of the site. Windows allows this, but it against RFC (its not explicit about underscores directly -- that I can find), see the wikipedia page on this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hostname, the RFC on choosing a hostname doesnt explicitly mention underscores http://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc1178

If you would like to allow it you can add a /etc/hosts file entry for the site.

Hi Jon,

Thanks for the reply.

I''l try to edit the file with WinSCP or Putty.

Do I have to do someting special within the configuration of the webgateway?
