Need to convert a hostname to an FQDN

I have an application that just formats the URL as a plain hostname (eg. http://myserver/form.hml) I need to find a way to add a default domain name (so it becomes Can this even be done ?

hi all, I have found a solution to this. Not terribly elegant, but it works.

I need to give credit to Alok Sard ( ) for the solution (as in this post - I just added the host name to the hosts file.
