McAfee is blocking my website www.alinscribe.com

Hello Folks,

I have a content submission website. The website address is http://www.alinscribe.com . I have a user from USA. He informed me that he could not access the website when McAfee is enabled. After doing research whole day in the Internet did not get any solution. Now I came across here for help. Can Anybody help in this regards?

Hi Sattar,

You can create an account on TrustedSource.org and they will recategorize the site. However, looking into the categorization, it doesnt appear to have one.

Do you have a screenshot of the block from the user by chance?

Visiting the URL today, I'm not sure what to make of the website, it has quite a variety of content..

Best Regards,

Jon

Re: McAfee is blocking my website www.alinscribe.com

Hi Jon,

Thank you very much for your prompt reply. I have followed your instruction accordingly. I created an account for my website http://www.alinscribe.com/ at TrustedSource.org . I have applied for the categorization of the website for product, McAfee Web Gateway v7.x/6.9.x (Resident). Now I am waiting for the result. Could you tell me that, should I have to submit URL to all the products those are listed at https://www.trustedsource.org/ ?

Here is what my website user shared with me regarding the blocking.

This site is blocked.

http://protonsurvey.com/?isp=Comcast%2520Cable%2520Communications%2520inc.&browser=Internet%2520Expl...

An unacceptable security risk is posed by this site.

McAfee Web Category: Malicious Sites

  McAfee Security Rating: Red

Thanking You,

Re: McAfee is blocking my website www.alinscribe.com

Hi Sattar,

Your website was not the cause of the block, rather the ads (or whatever that URL is) you have on your website. If you look at the URL you posted, it contained information about the user like ISP, IP, geo location, etc.. Protonsurvey.c o m is categorized as malicious. Going to that domain shows a blank page, googling the domain also reveals nothing about it.

Best Regards,

Jon
