McAfee Web Gateway: Memory Usage vs. MWG Memory Usage

Jump to solution

Hi

Would someone be able to explain to me what the difference is between Memory usage and MWG Memory Usage as in the graphic below? If assume Memory Usage refers to physical appliance Memory (RAM), but not sure what MWG Memory Usage represents.

Many thanks

"MWG Memory Usage" is the combined memory footprint of the McAfee Webgateway processes running on the MWG appliance (proxy, antimalware, UI, etc.).

"Memory Usage" is the memory footprint of all running services on the appliance.
