MWG login very slow

Good afternoon all,

We used MWG appliances since 2012 and switched to VMs at the beginning of this year.  At first, it was quick to connect via a web browser, and the login was quick once you entered credentials.

Over time, it has gotten slower.  Now it takes 58 seconds (last time I checked it) for the portal just to come up, and then when entering a username and password, it takes even longer to get in.

We update them on a regular schedule and restart every time.  We've rebooted off-cycle just to test.  None of the routing has changed.  Any other idea why this would happen?  Based on all of the charts, it has plenty of free resources in every category.  The only one that shows any trend of slowly getting more and more use is Memory Usage, which sits at 2GB free.  But after our normal restarting it goes back up to about 4GB and then slowly goes back to 2GB which is expected (and the old appliances were comparable).  There is nothing else that is showing could be causing a performance problem.

Any ideas on what else to look for to figure this out?  Thank you.

Is it the same delay when you try to use the Webstart? On the login page, click on:

"Web Gateway UI as Java-Webstart Download"

Please tell what MWG version is installed and is the VM meeting the requirements for a production system?
