MWG 7.8.2 LDAP vs NTLM

Hi All

We had issues with NTLM recently and changed over to LDAP to AD using ldaps, everything works with LDAP except chrome will constantly pop up requesting auth to the proxy when nothing else does(IE or other web apps). We have moved back to NTLM and now and no longer get any popups. Why does LDAP auth cause the chrome popup but NTLM not?

Re: MWG 7.8.2 LDAP vs NTLM

Hi @Warren_G,

this could have several reasons like mis-configuration on MWG or issue caused by LDAP server or maybe the connection between those both.

To find out more, debug data needs to be checked like Feedback file, authentication debug log, tcpdump etc.

Based on a quick search, I could only find this similar case which might give further details but not a solution as there was also a SR raised at the end:

Above mentioned debug data is to sensitive for community.
