MWG-4500D concurrent sessions

Jump to solution

Hello community,

I have been asked about the maximum concurrent sessions that MWG-4500-D appliance can handle !! any help in that ?

I know that the main metric for  sizing is the requests per seconds, but as we can limit the connections for each IP address I think we can know the connections number limit for the appliance ?!

Thanks,

Anas

Hi,

Hope you are doing well.

Take MWG GUI access-> Navigate to option Configuration->Proxies->Advanced Settings->Maximum number of client connections ->  The value is by default 25000 on older versions.

It is possible to increase the client connections this can be done under Configuration > Appliances > Select the appliance > Proxies > Advance settings > by default on newer versions is 50000, if you are considering increasing the client connection make sure the appliance has enough resources to handle them.
