MCP bypass

Working with a client that uses MCP throughout its organisation and occasionally a user need to bypass the proxy in order to test a web site. A bypass request is made, usually for 5 days, and normally that's good enough. However, if the computer is rebooted within the bypass time period the MCP seems to reset and the proxy is reapplied.

Is there a way to make the bypass persistent? Can't use the don't redirect if on corporate LAN in the MCP policy as it's a business requirement to use MCP and their MWG. Besides, most of those who have the bypass requirement are frequently remote (the policy uses a SaaS proxy if the machine can't hit the MWG)

Re: MCP bypass

You can assign a policy with disabled MCP for testing or just uninstall the MCP client temporary.
