Thank you @nashcoop , I guess that this command it's to force the computer re-check the AD groups, but the group it's already appearing when we run whoami , so it looks like the computer it's being good informed by the AD, but MCP is not refreshing this information, anyway we've run the commands commented by you,and MCP it's not updating the groups, looking at Rule Tracing central, on Top Properties, the new group is not listed at Authentication.Usergroups.
We've tested with other groups, just in case, but the situation is the same
Any additional idea?
At this time (homeOffice + VPN) reboot are not a good way.
To update the emebership info the DC must be reachable at logon.
delete the GroupCache.opg file and logout/login then.
Hello,
Thank you so much for this troubleshooting, with this action (removing the file GroupCache.opg and logout/login) MCP could see the new AD group added to the user, but is there any other option? I mean... I guess that it's not notmal to remove this file in order to refresh the groups, at least we know that this works and I appreciate that, but we're searching other way to force MCP to check the groups.
Thank you in advance!
