Is that possible to create scheduled policies?

Jump to solution

Hello

I just want to know if with Web Gateway 7.2 is possible to create scheduled policies, not volume quotes or something like this, I mean, for example, from X hour to X hour the user will have access to a group of categories. In one document I checked something about this but I am not totally sure. If this is true, I would like to know how to do the scheduled policies.

Thank you for your help.

Best Regards

You can use DateTime properties in your rule criteria. For example:

DateTime.Time.Hour greater than or equals 11 AND DateTime.Time.Hour less than or equals 13 AND URL.Categories<Default> at least one in list Category List A

(DateTime.Time.Hour less than or equals 10 OR DateTime.Time.Hour greater than or equals 14) AND URL.Categories<Default> at least one in list Category List B

This will use one category list from 11:00am to 1:59pm and a second category list during the rest of the hours.
