We use subscribed IP address lists to manage access to one of our Web Gateways.
The smallest possible update chechk interval is 1 minute.
On request of our custommers we are building a portal environment in wich a client can self subscribe for internet access (after being granted access by management).
After a subscription by the client the IP address list should instantly get updated rather then a client having to wait for up to a minute for the list to update itself.
Is it possible to updated the subscribed lists with a shell command (so we can script it) rather then relaying on the update interval ?
I don't know of what command might be used to force a subscribed list update (there probably is one, I just don't know it), but you could do list updates through the REST interface. Andre gave some relevant examples here: https://community.mcafee.com/message/232284#232284
