How to skip scanning for the big size file of FTP ?

I am using WebGateway 7.0.

I am searching the setting for skipping the AV Scanning for the big size (over 2GB) files.

I found the setting for HTTP (content-length header) but I didn't for FTP.

Re: How to skip scanning for the big size file of FTP ?

Maybe you can try the "Body.Size" property?

Please note: Even if you can skip the filtering MWG has most likely to download the complete file first, to determine the size.

Thank you, Asabban

I tried Body.Size. And I confirmed the file can be skipped.

As you notice, the data will be sent to client after the whole data arrived to WebGateway.

Is there anyway to make the data start to be transferred to client

just after the size of data exceed the limit ?

Re: How to skip scanning for the big size file of FTP ?

Hello,

I do not see a way to change the behaviour in this case. The body.size is afaik evaluated when the file is completely transferred to the Web Gateway. Before we have the complete file we do not know the size, therefore we can´t influence the behaviour here.
