How to reset password for Maria DB

Hi All,

We are in a situation where the customer is using Mariadb for the reporting database to fetch the logs related to CSR.

Problem is that customer has forgotten that password. From EPO, the Test connection fails for CSR and Mariadb, so the CSR feedback file could not be generated.

Can some help with the steps to reset the Mariadb password? MariaDb comes as an additional package with the CSR .

I'm not sure if it is recommended by McAfee support, but you can reset your password using standard mysql procedures (restart mysqld/mariadb server in --skip-grant-tables mode). Just google.
