Determination from Web Gateway that a site is down or not responding

Jump to solution

Any one know where I can find the settings/information that would show the determining factors that the web gateway would use to indicate that a web site is down/not responding, etc?  Right now if I go to a website, that is still open on port 80 but not giving back any content, it will bring up the "Cannot Connect" index.html file but after a long period of time.  Users should know if it is down or not within at the most 30 seconds.  I just can't seem to find it for some reason.

I got the host not resolvable message to show up just fine after putting in an invalid domain.

The timeouts of which you speak are in the Configuration>Appliances>Proxies.

There is a section called Timeouts that determine:

Initial Connection Timeout

Connection timeout

Client connection timeout

Maximum idle time for unused server connections
