Hi All,
I have a planning to use McAfee WPS (Hybrid MWG) using the design as attached (HLD_McAfee_WPS.jpg).
The details are:
- There are 2 locations
- I am using vMWG (1 instance per location)
- Total users (internal + remote) = 700 users
- I am planning to use MCP, so all the traffic load balance would be handled via MCP
My questions are:
- If I am using Central Management Cluster for that design (2 vMWG instances), is it possible for those 2 vMWG instances to handle http traffic from users?
- From my understanding, in WPS, the policy sync will be performed from on-premise vMWG to the WGCS instance in the cloud. If it is correct, in Central Management Cluster there will be only one some sort Master Node, does it mean that the synchronization to the WGCS instance will be handled by this Master Node?
- With this kind of deployment, how many WPS license that I need to purchase? I believe it's still 700, but I am kinda confuse since I am using 2 dedicated vMWG instances.
Also, in the past, I have read a very good article about Central Management Cluster like this:
But it seems I don't have sufficient privilege to access it anymore. Is there any way for me to access it? Because I believe it's very good article for this matter.
Thanks.
Best regards,
Yedi
