Broblem in synchronization between two MWG appliances..


i have an issue with my two MWG 4500 appliances.. their version is 7.1

i think the problem is with the synchronization because the issue appears when i do some change at MWG-A, these changes don't be applied on some users who are passing through MWG-B unless restarting the appliance B..

i attached some snapshots for my configuration on both devices..

i need to know how can i run the appliances in Active-Active mode and Active-Passive mode too..

your assistance will be appreciated.

Hi Ahmad,

It looks like you are logging in using the VIP, do not do this, this is only meant for the proxy traffic, not the GUI traffic (though it may work, its not designed for this purpose).

Also, make sure the central managment listener IP's match the physical IP of the appliance.

As far as the appliances acting in active/passive, that is not currently possible (but may be in the future). Is there a reason you really need active/passive? Active/active is on when you have a director priority set for both nodes.

can you please provide me with the recommended configuration for the HA in steps, cause i didn't find the required documentation.

regarding the Active-Passive mode.. one of our customers asked me about.
