Block 'new' domain names for period of time

Jump to solution

Hello,

Does the web gateway offer a way to write a rule to block newly registered domain names for a specific period of time?

Other vendors are doing this but I didn't see a way to do this via the web gateway.

Thanks!

Hello,

there is no such functionality today. However, I have taken you post and forwarded it internally to the team dealing with the evolution of the URL Filtering component.

thanks,

Michael

I think this would be great functionality. It would help cut back on malicious servers that domain hop every hour.
