Can you give an example of a rule blocking download of macroEnabled documents only from specific countries. For instance RU and CH.

I'm interested in that too. What about macros in application/msword (.doc) and application/vnd.ms-excel (.xls) and application/pdf with scripts? Can they be blocked?

If I for a start just want to log, how many macro downloads is occuring, before I do any blocking, is that easy to do?...

Yes it is,

you can set the rule to Action continue and adding some stuff in the Events section to write a specific LOG File.
