Block AD user

Is there a way to simply block a user via userid on active directory.  We're using NTLM authenication so I assume its possible. Does anyone have a sample xml?

Re: Block AD user

Hi Carlos,

this should be straightforward.

If Authentication.Username equals "asabban" Then Block

Thats all :-)

Best,

Re: Block AD user

Hello

this blocks access when user uses domain-group/user.

Is there a way to block everything for a user-id, also Global White-List, that is accessible without authentication ?

thanks

Re: Block AD user

Ciao Giuliano,

You can work with IP address... that's the best if you don't know username.

Re: Block AD user

If you are trying to block before authentication, then it has to be done by IP address.

That is the only information the gateway will have.

Re: Block AD user

The best place to put it in is the Global Block rule set.
