¿Any idea why the services went down?
Is this really 6.8.2 or did you mean 6.9.2?
Termsignal 7 would indicate an update issue of some kind.
Gather a feedback and then you could try deleting the AV files to clear the situation:
service webwasher-csm stop
rm -rf /opt/webwasher-csm/conf/antivirus/*
service webwasher-csm start
IMPORTANT: You must perform a manual update of the AV engine under Configuration > Update Manager > AV Engine.
Afterwards you can open a support case.
Thank you Jon,
Well, in fact it is a Web Gateway 6.8.7, my bad.
Well i opened a case but unforunely the version 6.8.7 is no longer supported by engineering so we have to update to a newer version in order to ask for an investigation but thank you anyway, hope this is not going to repeat, at least that often.
Have a great one.
Some versions of 6.8.7 had problems with loading of the AV engine. It was EOL Dec 2011 I believe (http://www.mcafee.com/us/support/support-eol-software-utilities.aspx).
6.9 addresses these problems and prevents the crashes that you were observing.
In any event you can run the commands I gave to correct the immeidate issue until you upgrade.
