Allow URL's that falls under the Blocked URL category

Hi,

We have implemented URL filtering in MWG 7.X and i have several request to allow certain web sites that are required for our busines operations, unfortunately those URL falls under the blocked URL category.

Is there a possibility to allow those URL's and at the same time those URL's should go thru the rest of the policies (common rules, media type filtering & malware filtering).

Any one has any suggestion to achieve this task.

Rgds,

Dinesh

Re: Allow URL's that falls under the Blocked URL category

Most policies will have a URL Filtering rule set where the category blocks are defined.

This is one from the default policy. You would put the sites that you want to allow in the 'URL WhiteList "internet" '

Always

Re: Allow URL's that falls under the Blocked URL category

Thanks, It works.

What happened was that I have moved all the blocked URL category under the Global block and the global white list action was stop cycle. Since I have moved under the URL Filtering rule set, I have the URL White list and the action to be stop rule set, by this it will go thru the rest of the policies.
