Accept page if user access private websites

Jump to solution

Hi All

Sorry, the search did not help me.

My customer wants to have a page displayed if the user tries to open a webpage which is not business related. The page should show some text, which tells that this page is maybe used for private and that the user can access the page but needs to press an accept button that traffic is logged.

If the users user press this accept button the requested page will be shown.

How could I configure this? User relase on webgateway is 7.5.2.3

Thanks so much for your help!

Clemens

I didn't work with this rule, but seen in preconfig (https://mcafee.app.box.com/mwg-preconfig) special rule "Custom#03 Coaching".

This rule allows to display warning for users with a request to enter reasons for access upon transition to the sites with a certain category (example, web-mail).

These reasons for access are logged in the file

#time_stamp "auth_user" src_ip server_ip status_code "req_line" "categories" "rep_level" "media_type" bytes_to_client bytes_from_client "block_res" "comments"

[05/Nov/2015:09:45:00 +0300] "-" - 64.233.166.18 0 "GET https://mail.google.com/mail/ HTTP/1.1" "Web Mail" "Minimal Risk" "application/x-empty" 0 0 "300" "check e-mail"
