AD or LDAP authentication for CLI Webgateway access

Is there a way to use AD or LDAP authentication for CLI access?

Regards

Re: AD or LDAP authentication for CLI Webgateway access

Hi Frank,

CLI access = login via SSH?

Best,

Andre

SSH is implemented with OpenSSH server on MWG. We don't support this but generally it's possible to teach openssh to use LDAP authentication via PAM. You will have to install and configure pam_ldap (available since MWG 7.3) on the appliances.

Configuration file is /etc/pam_ldap.conf and  /etc/pam_ldap.secret, package ships example pam configuration in /usr/share/doc/pam_ldap-185/pam.d/ssh.

For MWG 7.2 you need to install package nss_ldap and configure /etc/ldap.conf. Example for pam config is available at

/usr/share/doc/nss_ldap-253/pam.d/ssh
