A Schedule time to minutes problem ?

Jump to solution

Hello,

I have some problem regarding activate a policy in specific time using WebGateway 7.1.0.5.

Before , We applied  some rule a schedule time to hours and these rule worked successful using https://community.mcafee.com/thread/34611 but we did not work a schedule time to minutes.

How can I apply a rule in a schedule time to hours and minutes like, from 10 to 10:20  and from 12:30 to 13:30  in 24 hour logic ?

With Kind Regards

There are many ways to do this depending on the logic of the rest of the rule Rule Set. But if you want to only allow browsing between 10:00-10:20 and 12:30-13:30, then something like this might work for you.

Schedule
Enabled
Applies to Requests: True / Responses: False / Embedded Objects: False
Always
EnabledRuleActionEventsComments
Enabled10:00-10:20
1: DateTime.Time.Hour equals 10
2: AND DateTime.Time.Minute less than or equals 20
Stop Rule Set
Enabled12:30-13:30
1: (DateTime.Time.Hour equals 12
2: AND DateTime.Time.Minute greater than or equals 30)
3: OR (DateTime.Time.Hour equals 13
4: AND DateTime.Time.Minute less than or equals 30)
Stop Rule Set
EnabledBlock All Other Times
Always
Block<(Default)>

I attached this rule set. If you type it yourself, be mindful of the parentheses and AND/ORs.
