On premises appliance compatibility with WGCS

Jump to solution

We're planning to upgrade on premises MWG appliances to the current main release (7.8.2.11).  We're already using the web hybrid solution (on-premises local users & WGCS remote users) but I don't recall if I need to concern myself with compatibility issues with WGCS before I upgrade on-premises appliances to 7.8.2.11.  Can someone either tell me whether or not I need to be concerned about on-premises/WGCS compatibility if we're already using web hybrid and upgrading to the current main release, or point me in the right direction to a KB or guide that discusses what I need to check to make sure 7.8.2.11 is compatible with WGCS.

Thanks

We are running 7.8.2.11 in Hybrid mode with no issues.  Only once have we hit the issue where our on-prem was ahead of the cloud and that was using the Controlled release and only lasted a day or two.  7.8.2.x is on the main release track, not the controlled release track (8.1.x is the controlled release track at present)

Hi,

I would like to add the knowledge base article that shows supported versions for Hybrid mode:
