I had the same error this morning after the 7.5.6 update when trying to save a new scan or start an existing scan. All scans are not running and in an error state, this is now with Tier 3.
Mcafee support told me it's a problem with the new update 7.5.6. so far there is no solution or an estimated time for remediation.
Had the same error as well.... was hard convincing the support that there was an issue with its 7.5.6 patch.
Any workaround that you guys have done to revert to 7.5.5?
Expereiencing the same error. This occured after updating to 7.5.6.
It also appears it may have corrupted/changed the SQL DB password. I have saved a backup of 7.5.5 DB.
Note: Our DB is a running on a remote SQL server (i.e. not on the VM with the MVM aplication).
Anyone else have a similiar set up?
I would like an official response from McAfee.
Thanks.Message was edited by: axlvuln on 2/27/14 10:52:42 PM CST
I got a hotfix this morning (UK based), it resolved the issue. it was an SQL query that fixed the Database. no doubt you will all receive the call when your time zone awakes ......
I also got a hotfix (sql query) and it resolved the issue. It seems this issue is only applicale where SQL 2005 is used.
Hi, i´m from Mexico and i have not even mcafee response. Why even i don´t get the solution?
Have you opened a support case with McAfee?
I was provided with the fix and tested working.
I contacted McAfee Gold Support and was told:
Has anyone else been provided the patch as of today? Or was this the response you received as well?Message was edited by: axlvuln on 3/3/14 6:07:52 PM CST
