Re: Windows Credential Sets

I concur with John.  If you are in the U.S. or otherwise only a few timezones away from Texas, you'll get much better support for MVM over the phone.  I don't know what to advise folks in other countries.

Re: Windows Credential Sets

T3 just emailed me the solution. You need to recreate the CA using the FCM.

Re: Windows Credential Sets

Hi Argyris,

Did you ever open a Service Request for this?  To really see how the credentials are being used and possibly rejected you can enable a logging tweak via a registry setting.

1) Run Regedit

2) go to

** if the key "Tweaks" doesn't exist, create it. **

3) Create the following DWORD Value:

LogWamDWORD Value 'ff'

4) Re-run the scan

5) check the logs and search for the user specified in the credentials record.

If you're still having problems, open a Service Request and attach the verbose logs from the above test.  You can PM me the SR # and I will help out if I can.

Re: Windows Credential Sets

Just joined this community!!

So apologies if anything is repeating...

Below are few pointers from my end:

  1. Does the credential work when you RDP in to the Windows Box ? That will help in finding if the account is disabled or locked out
  2. Does the credential work for other Windows Boxes ?
  3. How did you configure the credential set, Domain based/Workgroup based/Individual Host (did you use IP Address or FQDN) ?

Check the above things, one of them might workout.

I have heard good things about FSDiag as well. Using it might able to able to help you out identifying the problem.

Best Regards,
