What is needed to have full rights when scanning with Admin credentials?

What is needed to have full rights to a host when scanning with Admin credentials? I am stll missing Null session and WMI Accessible. What can I do to fix that access? I was missing Remote Registry but found that the Remote Registry service was disabled on the host.

Check this KB for Mininum File and Registry Permissions needed to scan Windows systems:

https://kc.mcafee.com/corporate/index?page=content&id=KB59918

I hope that helps!

Hi bjackson,

What version of Windows?  Short answer for NULL SESSION is you need to at least have either port 139 or 445 open on the target.  WMI isn't needed for any of our scripts.

So the WMI is not really needed to perform a full vulnerability scan? We have the problem on all the versions of windows we are scanning ...Win 2000, Win2003, Win2008. We are scanning from Win2008 servers.
