Implication of Changing SQL Server to Match Appliance Name

Hi,

We have a 2 appliance deployment, and due to some reasons we need to change the server name which hosts the SQL Database.

What are the implications of doing so if any?

Thanks

Raj

We just replaced our db server and it wasn't difficult - just restored the db to the new server and then changed the settings in the FCM to point to the new DB.  You'll also find this useful if u want to move the reporting server function - KB53288.
