Hi Wayne,

Sorry for the late reply... have you worked this out yet?  These errors usually indicate SQL Client Tools aren't installed on the system where FSUpdate is running...  can you try running FSUpdate on the Database?  if that's not an option, and if you're having issues getting the client tools installed, you should open a Service Request.

For contact details:

-  Go to: http://www.mcafee.com/us/about/contact/index.html
-  Non-US customers - select your country from the list of Worldwide Offices.

Alternatively:
Log in to the ServicePortal at: https://mysupport.mcafee.com:

-  If you are a registered user, type your User Id and Password and click OK.
-  If you are not a registered user, click New User and complete the required fields. Your password and login instructions will be emailed to you.

I hope that helps!

Hi Sonny,

The problem I see is:

09/26/2012 16:18:28 -> The FoundScan  database current version is '6.0.651'.

FSUpdare will not work with a version so old as that.   Current MVM Version is 7.5.  You can/should run the Installer to upgrade to either supported version of 7.5 or 7.0, *then* run FSUpdate.

I hope that helps!

Hi Cgrim,

Many thanks your support,

In fact, Because of some problems, we can't upgrade FS to newer version this time. Can we update FS database manually in this case ? If manual update is fail, does FS still work ?

Hi Sonny,

I'm not sure I follow your question.

The database and product both need to be upgraded at the same time.
