Which File is Infected?

McAfee is reporting to me daily on a routine scan that there are 2 affected files on my QNAP, but I cannot find a way to identify which files they are so that I can make a qualified decision about what to do with them.

They are not quarantined, so I guess that the threat is low?

Any idea how to locate these files?

Re: Which File is Infected?

Hi @menocupa,

Sorry for the inconvenience caused. Please perform the following steps to remove the affected files and get back to us with an update. Thank you.

1. Perform a Quick scan or Full Scan.

2. Once the scan is completed, it will show you the scan results and list of infected files.

3. If you click on the results, it will show you the path where it is located.

Similarly check your security history for scans or viruses detected and the period covered it should show the details there after the fact
