Hi, Im new to all this, and so far I have nothing nice to say about Mcafee. I have Internet Security 2009 installed on my computer, and it runs the scans, but is not removing or detecting a spyware that just recently infected my computer. HELP ME PLEASE?!?!?
This isn't uncommon amongst any of the major anti-virus applications. Certain types of spyware can fool them & there are so many variations appearing all the time. That's why we always recommend to people to have extra anti-spyware applications handy.

if you still need help...
download and install 'Malwarebytes' ( mbam ) run a scan and post the logs in your next reply.
download and install 'HijackThis' ( Trend Micro ) run a scan after mbam and copy/paste the log in your next reply.
We don't encourage Hijackthis logs on this board as we don't have the resources to analyse them. We leave that to people more qualified and independent of McAfee.
Please see this thread: http://community.mcafee.com/message/26860#26860
Well, that is our policy, we are not a malware analysis forum, those ones listed on that shortcut are & are good at it.
If you want to analyse HJT logs for people then PM them and give them your email address but we prefer to recommend reputable malware forums.
What do you mean "out of time" ? If you mean old, yes it is but it is constantly updated. It was posted a long time ago by a now-deceased forum Administrator.
Just an FYI noone can just call McAfee - there is no phone number other than for paid Virus Removal or paid Technical Support and Customer Service which has nothing to do with this issue.
Which leads back to my original answer.
