I have a zip file that when I try to unzip McAfee is putting a file in quarantine & the unzip fails. When I restore the file out of quarantine the unzipping process, of course, does not automatically resume; I'm left with only about half the files I need.
The question is, how can I suspend McAfee to perform this unzip successfully ????? Or is there a proper way to perform this ?????
Turning off Real Time Scan did the trick. For those having the same problem, take note that you can have Real Time Scan off for a specified period of time so you don't have to remember to turn it back on. Also, you will need administrative rights on the computer to perform this action.
