See the name of removed viruses/trojans

Hi

The scan report tells me how many viruses/trojans were detected/removed, but it seems that there is no available option to see the names of those viruses/trojans.

How would I see those?

BTW, I lost half an hour trying to get the McAfee support people on the phone to answer this simple question. I was appaled at how bad those guys are. Worst support experience of my life, and I'm 48, with 27 years working on PC, and 22 years using Norton, McAfee and other antivirus products. They were incredibly bad, beyond words.

Re: See the name of removed viruses/trojans

If an item has been detected and quarantined you should be able to see what it was. It depends perhaps on which McAfee installation you've got running, but if you go into Security Center and click on Navigation you ought to see Quarantined and Trusted Items in the list that comes up. Click on that, you'll see separate headers for the two categories. Look in Quarantined Items. This is what I see in Internet Security 2010 : other versions/products may be structured differently. But the items should be locatable.

Also in navigation / history and logs are threats detected which shows what is detected by each type of scan.

Yes, of course. I overlooked that because there's never been anything in it on my system so I wasn't sure what it might contain.
