Scheduled scans do not run

I'm having a problem with my Scheduled Scans on McA Total Protection.

I've scheduled scans for 10:00 pm every Saturday. However, the last scan that shows up in my history is a date other than a Saturday. (I've gone further back in the history and find that other scans are more than a week apart...) In addition to that, the "next scheduled scan" shows as "June 3, 2013 at 9:45 AM" -- obviously a Monday, and obviously in the past, since it's now 10:00 am.

The system clock is accurate, the computer is always on and never asleep.

Suggestions?

Depending on your version, and some are older if obtained via 3rd parties such as Dell, Winferno, your ISP etc., scans can be delayed by hard drive activity, but nevertheless should occur after a few minutes.

Try running the Virtual Technician and see if that fixes anything, run it twice or more if necessary.
