Re: McAfee Antivirus plus full scan - detected Trojan

If there's nothing in  your Quarantine folder then it may have been a false detection, since cleared, or something that wasn't very recent.  That report is only a general summary and covers more or less the lifetime of the product.

The Quarantine folders are under Navigation - Quarantined and Trusted Items.

Re: McAfee Antivirus plus full scan - detected Trojan

Thanks so much for your reply, I deleted everything in the Quarantine folder but after that I scan again and it has the same Trojan: 1 indication...  I guess maybe like it has been detected by the software but not actually got into my computer?  What do you think about this?

Re: McAfee Antivirus plus full scan - detected Trojan

All it means is that it detected something at some stage in the past, not that something is currently in the detection folders.

I wouldn't worry too much but you could run some 3rd Party Tools as mentioned about halfway down this page:  https://community.mcafee.com/docs/DOC-2168

That way you would be sure.
