Moved from Help section to VirusScan.
The message says an unepected error occurred during a scan. Not one I've seen before : any ideas about the cause?

Also the words under the popup says "analysis in the background" so you are running the scan in the background?
Seen it sometimes but rare.
Have you contacted support? they should know of it and the fix.
Open IE – click tools – Click internet options
Under advanced – click Reset
Close all windows and then try to run a scan
