deployment VSE 8.8.0.2300 Patch 16 failed

Jump to solution

I'm using epo 5.10.0 and MA 5.5.1.342.

Previously i had deploy ENS to my clients and having an issue. So i decided to uninstall the ENS and managed to uninstalled it to all my clients including the check-in policy.

Then i check in the VSE 8.8 patch 16 to the policy and create a new client task assignment.

once the run client task assignment now, the deployment failed with event id 2412.

Kindly advise.

Hi @nazrulhafizul83 ,

I understand that you're trying to install VSE and the deployment fails.

The screenshot is presumably from ePO server i.e. Orion.log

We would require to look into client side logs for more insight. It should be available under the following path.

C:\Windows\Temp\McAfeeLogs\

Please also check on the below points.

1. Ensure system has been restarted after removal of ENS.

2. If Step 1 has been followed, please try Endpoint removal tool to clean any remnants of previous install.

3. Re-install VSE

Thanks
