Windows 2008 UAC and scheduled scans not running

I have both VSE 8.5 and 8.7 installed on Windows 2008 servers. It appears that my daily scheduled scans will not authenticate correctly until I disable User Access Control.

Have others seen this? Should I configure the scan differently?

Thanks,

John

Runs fine here, do you specify a user account in the task settings?

Yes, I specify a user account, as I do for all Scheduled Scans. Should I not? I guess I should try that.

I don't specify a user so that the job runs in System context and so has a better chance of successfully cleaning infections like Conficker that repermission themselves in a way that normal admin accounts don't see them.
