When is VSE8.7i patch 1 going to come?????

my OS is windows server 2008
Bufferzone Overflow Protection is missed.....always showed Svchost.exe terminated Mcafee Processes....

someone told me there was the same question on Vista business 64 bit

Does McAfee desactiv the BufferOverflow for Win2008/Vista (because of bug?) ?

It should only disable Buffer overflow protection on 64-bit systems as it is not supported (or arguably needed) or if you have a 32-bit system with HIPS 7 to take over the job.

I just wanted to add to this post with the same question, where is patch 1? 8.7i made our users computers run so slowly that we were getting complaints and had to remove it for 8.5. I see that the patch 1 readme doc states that performance has been improved with it so I am keen now to start testing it.

This could change to be even later if an issue is found.
