What happens to local exclusions when migrating from VSE 8.8

Jump to solution

I want to migrate from Agen 4.8 and VSE 8.8 to Agent 5.5 and ENS 10.6. I cound't find anything about what happens to local exclusions.

Are local exclusions get lost or are they migrated as well? I mean if anybody has made an exclusion locally (not over ePO although the client is managed over ePO) on his computer. With exclusions I mean OAS exclusions which have been made on the client side and not in ePO policies.

Thank you for your help!

They should be migrated by default since the preserve settings feature of upgrade is enabled by default.

(Regarding the non-default command line switch) /nopreservesettings

Does not save your product settings when upgrading to
Endpoint Security.
By default, settings are preserved.
