VirusScan Enterprise

Does anyone have a solution for the VirusScan Enterprise not deploying thru ePolicy Orchestrator? I also tried the installation from a folder and it fails and backs out of the installation.

Thanks for your post.

How exactly you are installing using a scheduled deployment or run client task now?

Try using scheduled task and do check the McScript_deploy.log for any errors.

If it’s a update task from one version to another please make sure the Agent Policy-Update is set to the same where the patch is available.

if the patch is in the Evaluation or previous branch make sure the policy is set accordingly.

If everything has been tested I would recommend you to open a Service Request.

Hi @Former Member,

Thank you for your post. May I know if you can share the installation logs with us (please remove any PII data from the same). By "Back Out", May I know if you are referring to "Roll Back" action? if yes, Can you please check the log files present in "C:\Windows\Temp" folder (for ePO Deployment failure) or User temp location (%temp% for manually deployment done locally) to investigate the issue and identify the cause?
