VirusScan Enterprise 8 patch 10 issues

Hi Everyone.

Well patch 10 has been out over a week now and there seems to be very little discussion around it.

We have found that it kills performance on Windows 7 devices. Have tried both an upgrade from Patch 9 and also a fresh install.

When Windows 7 reboots and you login, we get either a black screen during the login process or the blue Windows 7 background with the spinning cursor.

Have rebooted in safe mode managed to disabled the McShield service, reboot again and we are able to login. If I then re-enable the service and have Task manager open watching processes the machine just dies again with no jumps / spikes in cpu usage. at a bit of loss really.

Just wanted to feedback here and see if anyone else had seen these issue before I raise an SR.
